Originally from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Julian Fort moved to Los Angeles with his family in 1977. In 1978, Julian’s father, along with two close friends, opened the New Beverly Cinema which became an icon of the Los Angeles independent film movement. Steeped in film from birth, Julian set out to put his own vision on the screen. While working as a Security Guard at Paramount Pictures in Hollywood, Julian wrote, produced and directed his debut feature film “The Midnighters”. Completed in 2016, the film will make its world premiere at the Phoenix Film Festival in the spring of 2017. Julian is currently in development on a number of original projects as well as shopping several completed works which are ready to begin production.
