Adam Carl began his career as an actor, and has a long list of film, theatre and TV credits, including a series regular role on the CBS sitcom Hearts Afire with John Ritter and Billy Bob Thornton. Transitioning to filmmaking later in his career, Adam had a hand in producing the MGM-released feature film Madison, starring Jim Caviezel and Bruce Dern, which had its premier at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival. He has also written, produced, and directed three independent films of his own: Performance Anxiety, Pieces of Eight, and Waiting for Ophelia, starring Emmy-winner Yeardley Smith. On the television side, Adam served as a producer for VH1’s reboot of its iconic music video trivia show Pop-Up Video, which was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award. Most recently, Adam produced online content for Google and Awesomeness TV.
